From 1974 to 1975 Preload constructed nine organic chemical open-top treatment tanks for E.I. DuPont de Nemours & Co.:
- three 250,000 – Gallon neutralization tanks with 40’ inside diameters and 24’ side water depths
- three 4.6 MG aeration tanks with 185’ inside diameters and 23’ side water depths
- two 2.9 MG secondary treatment tanks with 172’ inside diameters and 16’ side water depths
- one 300,000-Gallon sludge thickener tank with 60’ inside diameter and 15’ side water depth
All nine of these wire-wound prestressed concrete Preload tanks have been in continuous service for more than 40 years.
