Project Overview

Worthington, MN

Worthington is a city in and the county seat of Nobles County, Minnesota, United States. The city’s site was first settled in the 1870s. In 2017, Lewis and Clark Regional Water System desired to add a tank in their new facility expansion. After researching available tank options, the project teams selected an AWWA D110 Type III prestressed concrete tank with a domed roof and membrane flooring. Lewis and Clark Regional Water System embedded a massive logo to the side of the tank, adding to the already great aesthetic appeal of the tank.

In 2017, Preload was selected as the general contractor for this project. The construction crews had plenty of space to work with during the project. However, the cold conditions and challenging weather presented some challenges. Despite these challenges, Preload’s crews made the end product look fantastic.

This 2.0 MG Water Storage Tank will provide reliable service to Lewis and Clark Regional Water System for many decades to come.
