Pueblo West, CO
Pueblo West is an unincorporated community and a census-designated place located in and governed by Pueblo County, Colorado, United States. Pueblo West was founded on September 16, 1969. In 2019, Pueblo West Metropolitan District retained JVA, Inc. to design this new w.0 million gallons (MG) finished water storage tank. After researching available tank options, the project team selected an AWWA D110 Type III prestressed concrete tank with a domed roof and membrane flooring. This tank also features several key accessories leading to a more functional design.
In 2019, Preload was selected as a sub-contractor for the project. Preload overcame several challenges, including the cold Colorado winter weather and a windy job site. Despite the challenges, our crews created an excellent tank that complements the surrounding property beautifully.
This 2.0 MG Water Storage Tank will provide reliable service to the Pueblo West Metropolitan District and its customers for many decades to come.
