Project Overview

Preload completed this 7.5MG AWWA D110, Type III prestressed concrete tank in 2015 for the San Antonio Water System in San Antonio, TX. The Old Pearsall is one of many Preload constructed prestressed concrete tanks in the owner’s system. Dan McCarthy’s design allowed a seamless submittal effort with Tim Halloran. Ross’s jobsite staff coordinated with the GC, PLW, to deliver the project on schedule despite multiple weather disruptions. After a site visit to this tank while under construction, Valero USA was so impressed they elected to build their first prestressed concrete tank which Preload constructed in Texas City, TX.
